Your wellbeing is my passion!
The Nursing Agency also introduced me to working with Brain Injury rehab.
The more shifts I worked there, the more interested I got and my curiosity got me addicted to find out more. As soon as a neuroplasticity book was published, I read it.
The first time I attended a Neurology open day at the University in Auckland was truly mind blowing. Seeing in videos the science of how the brain works. Like a disco light show.
At the time I had already worked at CAVIT Brain injury Rehab facility in Auckland, which had 12 houses of patients with different degrees of Brain injuries and their abilities. This gave me another angle to Brain injury.
In 2004, I had my personal experience with that, when I suffered severe Whiplash and brain injury and I had memory loss for 3 month and had to relearn many small connections. At the time of the accident the Police attending the site, insisted I get checked out and x-ray. At that time nothing was obvious for brain injury and it wasn’t identified.
That gave me another angle and even bigger picture about brain injury and understanding the Neurological function.
When it comes to brain injury and regaining YOUR BEST that you can BE, that is unlimited and takes time, I’m sure I can help you with different skills, for you to improve.
Often I have seen THERE ARE NO LIMITATION but plenty of faulty belief systems.
